At launch, Haptyk sends a single anonymous ping containing: app version, macOS version, selected sound pack name, and free/pro status. No personal data, no keystroke content, no usage tracking.
Haptyk does not record, transmit, or store any keystroke content. The app reads keyboard events solely to trigger sound playback and reads the accelerometer solely to measure typing force. All processing happens locally on your Mac.
Your settings and license key are stored locally at ~/Library/Application Support/Haptyk/. Nothing is sent to our servers except the anonymous launch ping described above.
License key activation is processed by Lemon Squeezy (our payment provider). Their privacy policy applies to the purchase transaction. Haptyk itself does not share data with any third party.
