Haptyk offers a fully functional free version with velocity detection, crossfade engine, and 2 sound packs. We strongly encourage you to use the free version to verify that the app works on your Mac and meets your expectations before purchasing Pro.
We offer a full refund within 14 days of purchase if:
- The app does not function on your Mac due to a technical issue on our end
- Your Mac does not have the required accelerometer sensor (and the free version did not warn you)
- You accidentally purchased twice
Refunds are not available in the following situations:
- More than 14 days have passed since purchase
- A future macOS update affects sensor availability or app functionality (this is outside our control, see Terms of Service, Section 3)
- You simply changed your mind after using the Pro features
- Your Mac was compatible at the time of purchase but became incompatible due to an Apple software update

Haptyk uses an undocumented hardware interface to access the internal accelerometer of Apple Silicon MacBooks. This interface is not officially supported by Apple and may change or become unavailable in future macOS updates. By purchasing Haptyk Pro, you acknowledge this risk. We will make every reasonable effort to maintain compatibility, but we cannot guarantee that the velocity detection feature will work indefinitely on all future macOS versions.
This is why we offer a generous free tier: so you can confirm the app works for you right now, on your current macOS version, before spending any money.
